Adam Keen

Adam has been practicing the Ashtanga yoga system since 1998 and teaching since 2004. He is one of few practitioners to have completed the Advanced A (third) series in Mysore, India, under the guidance of Sharathji Jois. He was given level 2 authorisation to teach the intermediate series in 2012.
Adam’s teaching is thoughtful and pragmatic. His guiding principle is to facilitate your own unique experience of yoga. He goes beyond conforming to the instruction of a perceived authority.
Adam teaches with knowledge and humour and approaches each person as an individual. His emphasis is on a supportive connection to inspire the inclusion of yoga in your daily life.
Outside the sphere of yoga, Adam is a vegetarian chef. He’s cooked at Buddhist centres, yoga retreats and vegetarian restaurants of his home town London, UK. This has kept him well grounded and with a decent sense of humour.
His passion is the study of philosophy and is currently working on writing a book.
Theresa Keen

You know the expression ‘behind every good man…’ well, Theresa has been the solid foundation behind the development of my teaching. She has supported me getting up at crazy times, and dedicating hours every day to self-exploration; as well as being the driving force behind my first visiting Mysore, that earned our respective accreditations there.
She is herself an inspiration in her integrity and commitment to the practice of yoga, never wishing to teach (though qualified to do so), she has kept up her daily practice for the past 15 years, choosing instead to bring yoga into many lives by tirelessly developing and running a number of yoga-centres; the foremost being Purple Valley In Goa, India, where we met when she employed me as a chef.
Her unwavering commitment and belief to the yoga-lifestyle of integrity and dedication have been a great strength and source of inspiration to me over the years since we met. It is a testament to the quality of this that she has had such a positive outlook throughout her journey with breast cancer, and created meaning out of this time to again share yoga through developing ‘Saucha’, a natural body care range of products.
